The Last Week of School…

Monday, May 31Memorial Day – NO SCHOOL!

Tuesday, June 1Six Flags!THE VAN IS LEAVING FOR SIX FLAGS AT 7:30AM!!!  If you are not going to Six Flags, you are expected to be in school.  AF: you are the exception.  (You may not get in the van to go unless you are cleared through Betsy because you have gotten all of the necessary signatures.)

Wednesday, June 2LAST DAY!  Dismissal is at 11:30am.  Please be prepared to take your things home with you.  Also, we are cleaning, so dress accordingly!

Thursday, June 3Field Day!  Only those who are signed up to work need be here for the Lower School’s Field Day.

Friday, June 4GRADUATION!  Both the 8th Graders and our beloved Kevin will graduate.  Times will be confirmed earlier in the week.

Wednesday, June 9PARENT CONFERENCES!  You are cordially invited and strongly encouraged to attend your conference.

Exam Week

Please remember that you will be dismissed after your last exam of the day.

Monday (the 24th) – READING DAY!  You will have the opportunity to work in small groups and meet with teachers to ready yourself for your exams.

Tuesday (the 25th) – 9am MATH EXAM ~ 12pm HISTORY EXAM

Wednesday (the 26th ) – 9am LITERATURE EXAM ~ 12pm FRENCH/ITALIAN EXAMS

Thursday (the 27th)  – 9am SCIENCE EXAMS ~ 12pm WRITING EXAM

Friday (the 28th) – EXAM MAKE-UPS/PROJECTS DUE!  If all your work has been submitted and you’ve been cleared by all of your teachers, enjoy the day off!

The next three weeks:

Monday, May 17 ~ Friday, May 21 –> PREP WEEK FOR FINAL EXAMS!  We will hold regular classes as we ready ourselves for Final Exams the week of May 24th.  Our Study Session this time around is THURSDAY, MAY 20 from 4-7:30pm.  ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY – NO EXCEPTIONS!

Monday, May 24 ~ Friday, May 28 –> FINAL EXAMS!

Monday, May 31 ~ Memorial Day –> NO SCHOOL!

Tuesday, June 1 ~Six Flags

Wednesday, June 2 ~ LAST DAY OF SCHOOL! DISMISSAL AT 12PM!

Friday, June 4 ~ 8th Grade Graduation 10am/High School Graduation 6pm

Monday & Tuesday – Testing in the morning; classes resume after lunch.

Wednesday – Testing the first half of the morning; classes rest of the day.

Thursday & Friday – Regular schedule

This week…

Monday – We are back from Chicago and ready to back in the swing of things! :)

Tuesday – We are going to Joseph’s farm, Yellow House Farm, in New Hampshire.  You need to be at school NO LATER THAN 8:15AM!!! Remember to wear “dirty-ready” clothes and shoes.  Allergic to bees?  Bring your epi-pen!

Wednesday - Half day!  You will be dismissed at 11:30am.  There is a concert that night.   Joe, Nick, Kevin, & Sawyer will be performing.  Come support your classmates!!!

Thursday & Friday – Back to our regular schedules.

Spring has sprung!

As the weather gets nicer and we wear less layers, please remember the dress code!  Also, it is vital to your success as a learner to be well fueled.  Please bring water and plenty of food to eat at lunch to keep your energy level up.  There is no need for energy drinks – they are not allowed at school!

Please make sure that you have everything you need to be the most productive on Thursday, April 15.  Remember to check in with your advisor!

A Reminder from Mary –

All Study Skills students MUST have their Study Skills Folder for your next class, Tuesday 03/30/10.  If you do not have your folder, you will lose a merit point!!!

Welcome Back!

We are back from a great Spring Break.  Now it is time to look ahead and finish the year in impressive style!  Please make sure you have handed in all work as this is the last week of the quarter.  Teachers will not accept any work after Friday.

VACATION!

Please take this time to rest and recharge your batteries. 

Enjoy yourselves – see a movie, read a good book :) , and get some sleep!
